It makes me immensely happy that the world, although is not at complete peace, can be more open in mind to the way people live.
I live in a small town in Ohio, where there had not been much diversity while growing up. Which didn’t leave too much to the imagination of what is out there.
Since then, this little Midwestern town has grown in diversity due to two universities bringing in students from all over the world. It’s been refreshing.
Just a few days ago while I was attending the local art guild a transgendered man came in and we struck up a lively conversation about anything and everything. He was very nice and very open, not hiding who he really is.
People in this small town are not very open to change, but I feel if they just let their hearts open instead of their minds, we will truly get somewhere.
I hope the world will one day be welcoming to every person, shape, size, nationality, age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, all of mankind.
I hope you all have a happy Monday and rest of your Sunday!
